Thank goodness my Grammy can make a decision on where to eat, bc when faced with multiple options, I crumble. I was contemplating Chipotle, Clover Foods Labs, or Yeh! Frozen Yogurt, all in the same plaza. She wanted to go to B.Good though, so I happily followed along. B.Good is a fast casual restaurant that, at first glance, seems to focus on burgers. Once we got inside, I noticed they proudly display their love for locally sourced ingredients for their array of fresh menu options. In addition to burgers and sandwiches, they have salads and quinoa bowls. I chose the Avocado & Lime Quinoa bowl full of kale, sautéed veggies, avocado, black beans, corn, grape tomato, queso fresco, lime, cilantro, and chipotle sauce.
Honestly, I was impressed. Like they claimed, the food was super fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were generous. I’m a new fan! Next time I’m going back for the White Bean & Rosemary bowl. It has beets!
Healthy eats are best balanced with treats, which is essentially why I named my blog Hungry Meets Healthy. Keep your eyes and stomach open for the healthy foods, so when the craving for something sweet hits, you’ll feel okay indulging. One day last week I stopped at Haute Coffee in Concord for an afternoon pick-me-up. A cold brew coffee and a chocolate & caramel thumb print cookies. Both were delicious!
I want to wear this Old Navy halter neck maxi all the time. It’s so comfortable and fits well. I don’t like wearing maxis that have a really heavy fabric because I feel like I’m dragging in it. This one is made of a light, soft material. Similar maxis here and here.
I took this shot while standing on the corner of State St. and Atlantic Ave after leaving City Landing. The picture is super edited, yes, but I just love the architecture. I wonder if I’ll love this city as much when it’s covered in blankets of snow…
On a different evening, I snapped this picture of the Leonard P. Zakim bridge. Charleston friends, don’t slap me, but I think this one is just as pretty as the Ravenel. 🙂
Trader Joe’s never ceases to impress me. They’re always up to date on current food trends. Their newest health-conscious item: cold-pressed juices! I didn’t buy any this visit, but will probably pick a bottle up soon. Has anyone tried these yet?
Don’t forget to connect on instagram so we can share our fun finds! 🙂
