Ooooh I am excited about this one. While Beautycounter has promos fairly often, they’re usually on smaller or less expensive items. But this time they’ve wowed us with a free full-size product. Spend $150 or more and you can choose from a free Cleansing Balm or Body Oil.
Cleansing Balm – What’s to love:
Removes makeup so easily
Moisturizes skin leaving it so soft
Vitamin C helps brighten skin
Raspberry and cranberry seed oils hydrate the skin
Comes with a 100% muslin cloth, softer and easier than a traditional washcloth
Body Oil – What’s to love:
Is instantly absorbed
Best applied after a shower to lock in moisture
A blend of 13 botanical oils leaves skin smooth, silky, and luminous
Grapefruit, sweet orange, and rosemary blend for the scent
I would jump on this pretty quickly because I have a feeling that the Cleansing Balm may sell out. Don’t miss out!!! For more Beautycounter posts I’ve written, click here. Let me know if you’re have any questions about any products or need help choosing makeup colors!
As I mentioned last week, I’m thrilled to have become a Beautycounter consultant. Though it’s not something I ever saw myself doing, this blog has been my space to share things I want people to know about and I truly love this company’s mission. And that’s to get safe products into the hands of everyone. The other thing I get so excited about is hearing from blog readers who are looking for advice on makeup options and which products I recommend the most. I’ve always enjoyed sharing what I love with you guys, but something about this has been so rewarding. So thank you for letting me help you!! If you are at all conscientious about what you put on your skin or in your body, you need to take a look at what they have to offer. The head-to-toe skincare line has something for everyone – adults, kids, and babies.
Before I left for St. Thomas I picked up the Jet Set Collection. It’s a perfect starter/gift set for anyone interested in the products. Well, it was. Sadly it’s unavailable now….BUT! I have one to give away. I bought a second with the intention of giving it away on my blog so that a lucky someone could see exactly why I love these products. They’re sooooo so good! Read my review of all the products here.
In the beautiful red box is the Daily Shampoo, Daily Conditioner, Body Wash, Charcoal Bar, Body Lotion, and the cutest bag to carry it all in. My favorite out of these is the Body Lotion and the Body Wash. The scent alone is mmmm yum and the fragrance comes only from essential oils. I look forward to using them every day.
The bag fits a lot. When I had it on vacation, I filled it with twice as many products as above. And of course being travel friendly…you can toss in some mini vodka bottles. Or m&m’s. Whatever you fancy. 😉
Before you enter the giveaway, just know I’m always available to answer any questions about products or give advice on makeup colors (so fun.) I’ve tried a lot of the products in the past couple months, mostly because once you fall in love with one…there’s two…then you’re just obsessed and have the whole collection. HA. All I need is a fellow Beautycounter lover in Boston so we can share goodies. Holler if you’re near me!
So now…for a chance to win the Jet Set Collection, enter here! Good luck!!!!
If you’ve spent any time reading my blog, you know how important it is for me to lead a healthy lifestyle. I spend a ton of time learning about nutrition and fitness. It only makes sense that I have the same views toward skincare. But being a Beautycounter consultant? That wasn’t something I saw coming. Let’s chat. When I entered my 30s, I made a point to invest in my routine. I experimented with many products, some inexpensive and some luxury, but didn’t really fall in love with many. I felt like every product was lacking something.
About a year ago, I downloaded the DIRTY app. This handy tool links with the EWG and allows users to scan products for harmful ingredients. Wait, harmful ingredients in beauty products? Oh yes. There are TONS. It’s straight up frightening. Not so fun fact: The European Union has banned 1400 of the chemicals scientifically linked to cancer, hormone disruption, birth defects, and more. The United States, however, remains steadfast that buyers can make their own choices. Um, thanks?
Horrified by what I found out from the app, it was time for a Skintervention. After all, if I was going to spend all that time reading ingredient lists on the foods I ate, why wouldn’t I do the same for products I was putting ON my skin?
I scanned every product I owned. Those with multiple dangerous ingredients were immediately tossed; some were kept with the intention of using up and then replacing. I knew it might be an expensive process to overhaul all of my skincare so I wanted to be smart about it. Around the same time, a couple of friends mentioned Beautycounter products to me. “I keep hearing that!” I’d say, whenever someone mentioned how much they loved the charcoal mask. But what the heck is this company and why are people obsessed?
The short answer: Beautycounter is a beauty brand with the mission of getting safer products into the hands of everyone. Banning over 1,500 ingredients, they are setting a new standard for beauty products.
them too. Fast forward about 2 months and here I am, a Beautycounter consultant. My blog has been a platform for me to talk about what I love, whether it be a food product or fitness routine. And now I have something that I’ve made a mission to share: Safer beauty for all.
What I can promise is this: I’m not going to be up your bum trying to sell you products you won’t use. I will never bullshit you. This blog is not going to turn into a beauty site. I’m going to do what I always have done: share with you what I love and believe in. And boy oh boy, do I love this stuff.
I had been holding off on posting this until I was 100% ready to answer any questions you might have. I got really lucky with my timing because Beautycounter *just* announced a special you won’t want to miss.
If you have one question or even a million, feel free to email me: email@example.com. I’ll do my best to give you recommendations. I’ve already geeked out giving a few friends lip and eye shade recommendations, so don’t hesitate to talk beauty with me. I really do love it!
