Lunch with Auntie Kelly at Five Loaves. Their Mexican Chicken Chili is perfect! I also loved the Smoked Salmon Salad.
Wine and girls’ night with my new favorite juicer, Becky! We drank wine, ate snacks, and promptly fell asleep watching The Great Gatsby by midnight. WILD Friday, everyone.
A lovely run around I’on.
Lovely weather, friendly people, great scenery…until THIS. What the?! The freaks of Mount Pleasant must live in I’on.
PS: I hear this neighborhood has key parties. Google it if you don’t know. You’ll be horrified. Can someone validate this please!?
Football and sushi with my friend boys at Local’s. Yes, again. The sushi is so good! I will never say no to the seaweed salad, but we also tried the octopus salad with the best sauce: ponzu + sriracha.
This is the Paradise Roll: spicy salmon, avocado, and cucumber topped with red snapper, yellow fin tuna, wasabi sauce, roe and green onions.
I found out the owners are from Boston and they were really generous and let us try two of their competition winning rolls. On the menu, I believe they are listed as Competition Roll 1 and 2.
The Wine, Women, Shoes event at the Daniel Island Club. It was a long day, but I got to see some lovely friends who joined together for a great charity (Florence Crittenton Programs).
And a little gratitude to finish off the weekend. More on this book here.
