4. There are Uncrustables imposters at Wal-Mart! What! I wonder how they compare to the real deal. But who cares? My Cut ‘N Seal pocket sandwich maker arrived today, so I’ll be making plenty of my own Uncrustables imposters.IMAG2682

5. As of Monday, I have a new car: a 2010 Honda Accord. My first car was a stick shift, and I’ve missed it ever since. I discovered today that it is impossible to drive a manual in wedges, so I found my shoes a seat.IMAG2731

6. My birthday is in 10 days. This picture is from 22 years ago. Holy crud.bday

7. My friend Kinsey, is the pastry chef for The Indigo Road restaurant group (Oak, O-Ku, The Cocktail Club, and The Macintosh). For my birthday, she’s making me a Carrot Cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting and toasted pecans. I CANNOT wait.

    My best friend came to visit me from Washington, DC on May 24th and she also saw a man with no legs on a skateboard maneuvering the airport.  We had an extensive talk about this.  What are the chances it was the same man? What an inspiration he is without even knowing it!

    Gummy bears in vodka is delicious! And dangerous. They taste kinda nasty after only 1 or 2 days, but give them a week or so and you can’t taste any vodka. They make a great beach snack. :)

    We are loving the same things this Wednesday! I love that you posted a Gloria Steinem quote. I think rummy bears should make an appearance at the next book club meeting and so should that genius ice cream flavor.

    We soaked gummies in flavored vodka (fruit loop flavored…who knew such a thing existed) for our girls trip.  They were STRONG!  But delicous and made us very popular at the pool.

    Have you actually tried that oreo ice cream yet??? I was just as thrilled as you and put it in the cart the second I saw it. But unfortunately I was very disappointed with it. Yes, it does combine two amazing flavors, but it’s not strong enough of either one and the combination of the two just didn’t do it for me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m eating it every night until it’s gone, and I’m enjoying it. But I will stick to just the Oreo Blast OR Birthday Cake in the future.

      yep!! i love it. aside from chick-fil-a’s vanilla icedream, i rarely eat ice cream though. i usually stick to frozen yogurt. but this was delicious to me!

    Congrats for winning!!!! So excited for you, of course you ladies would win though :) I love infusing jolly ranchers into vodka! The vodka turns such a pretty colour and it tastes so good! I like the idea of the gummy bears though, I’ve actually seen vodka ones at the liquor store here!
