Warning: This will be random.

1. Where can I good, inexpensive yoga pants? I currently wear ones from Victoria’s Secret  and Target. I like them, but I want more! image

I know you all want to say Lululemon, but I’d rather spend my moolah on…

2. What’s the best mascara? I don’t need a lengthening one – my lashes already touch my eyebrows and it tickles! I want one that volumizes them so they look like fans for my face! haha. Could be helpful at the gym when I get really hot, right? Here’s what I currently use:

3. What’s your favorite cell phone app? I can’t get enough of Words with Friends.

Please don’t say Angry Birds – I refuse to download that!

4. Does anyone celebrate half birthdays? I just realized mine is today. I didn’t need another reason to celebrate, but now I have one. YAY. 27 1/2, here we go.

5. Are you going to say 2012 as “Two thousand twelve” or “Twenty twelve”? Major life decision right there.image

    Okay – answers!  Best place for yoga pants – TJ Maxx or Marshall’s.  They have good brands for cheap!  Mascara – Tarte.  Or go to Sephora or Ulta and sometimes they have combo packs with 7 or 8 smaller mascaras of all different brands, great way to try new kinds!  Also, pretty set on “two thousand twelve” but we’ll see.

    I second Old Navy… really comfy and very reasonable!  I’ve also gotten a few great pairs from Academy, though I don’t know if there’s one near you, and from TJ Maxx.

    2. covergirl lash blast (the orange tube) the brush is awesome for volume without length
    3. since im stuck in the stone age with a flip phone (i know youre jealous its ok) i cant recommend an app wah

    My answer to #1 is Gap!  My mom got me into their active wear, and she actually likes it better than Lululemon.  At this time of year, you can get them marked down in the back of the store.

    Oh and I have the same exact eyelash issue.  I bought Loreal Voluminous mascara last week (even though I am supposed to be using all natural products) and it works wonders.

    yoga pants… honestly my favorites and the best quality I have are Victorias Secret! just their classic yoga pants… I have more than I can count, and some of them are MANY years old. Lucy makes great quality pants too – I have several running tights and crops from them.

    #1 – Target. I have three pairs of yoga pants from the champion line and I live in them.  LIVE IN THEM.  some of the best $8 or $9 (on clearance) I’ve spent there.

    #2 – Loreal’s voluminous. you will have beautiful lashes as result.

    #3 – cell phone apps aren’t my thing. they might once I get an iPhone next year.

    #4 – nope I don’t celebrate my half birthday

    #5 two thousand eleven, although saying twenty twelve seems very futuristic.

    Ehh, I gotta say lulu, worth the extra few bucks since the quality is awesome!  No need to buy a new pair for a while…

    P.S.  Birthday can be celebrated any month, not just 6 months ;P

    I am a mascara fend!! I swear by Maybelline. My fav from them is The Colossal. Wonderful! I also love the One by One. Both are great!!

    I really like Buxom mascara (I get it at Sephora). I don’t wear mascara often, but I bought this for my wedding and LOVED it.

    old navy has some nice, inexpensive yoga pants; also, i don’t know if they have a store called ‘papaya’ in your area but i got a nice pair from there a while back on sale for about $8!
    and as far as mascara goes, if you’re willing to pay for the quality, sephora has a brand called buxom that’s pretty amazing. it’s expensive ($15 a tube i think?) but seriously, it’s worth it.

    1. I have these Nike pants that I bought from Kohls awhile ago and love them–they aren’t really yoga pants, but they are perfect for the gym or lounging around. They’re slightly fitted, so they look nice while still being comfortable. 
    I tried finding them online, but of course I had no luck. They’re basically those dri-fit pants and they have a yoga style waistband on top–aka no digging into your stomach when you sit. That was a lot of words for something I can’t even find online. Sorry.

    2. I buy the cheap-o Maybelline mascara but my new year’s resolution is to use better makeup–more on that later.

    4. Yes! I also get excited when I realize it is “90 days” to my birthday or “one month” away! Lame, I know.

    As far as mascara goes, I am a definite fan of CoverGirl’s Lashblast Luxe! I find it is the best one out there and its not badly priced either, especially when paired with a coupon.

    2.  I have the same lash problem and I am a MAC girl.. but for lashes my favs are Maybelline Falsies and Benefit They’re Real.. great volume!

    Buy Zellas! They are a spin off from lulu lemon (the founder left lulu to start the new brand) and are literally half the price. I’m obsessed-they are pretty much all I wear haha. They sell them at Nordstrom but you can probably get them online as well. Just make sure to go down a size-they stretch!

    3. VEVO, but I am a music video lover from way back and I since I can’t get my fix on TV I use this app pretty much every night.  Also pinterest…is a major time suck.

    PS twelve is one of the words that I misspell the most so this will be a challenging year!!

    I’ve bought all my yoga pants at TJMaxx since they’re so cheap but really great quality.  Same goes for Burlington or all those other type clothing stores.

    i use l’oreal HIP mascara. I have a serious addiction to mascara, I buy EVERY new kind that comes out. nothing is as good as HIP. :)

    1. Yoga pants …. I have the same question! I usually buy clearance leggings and call it a day.
    2. Mascara – Dior Show is great, but I really love Clinique High Impact or B.E. Buxom mascara.  They’re both almost half the price of Dior and they’re both great for building voluminous lashes.

    1) TJMaxx is where I found my fav yoga pants (and you know I live in them) they are by a brand called The Girls. They have actually lasted a lot longer than my Lulu ones.

    2) The BEST mascara for volume is YSL’s Faux Cils (?sp) – and you know I have tried them all being the makeup junkie that I am. I use DiorShow, but for volume YSL is better.

    3) DRAGONVALE.

    4) I’d celebrate yours…

    5) Twenty – twelve. I’m lazy.

    I actually found good yoga pants at Old Navy a few months ago! As much as I love the Victoria Secret’s pants, they can definitely get expensive. My new favorite iPhone app is “Hanging with Friends”. It’s a mixture of Words with Friends + Hangman.

    #1) I agree with all of the Gap suggestions! One of the Gap employees actually told me it is made in the same factory as lulu! I have both and see no difference (except the price.. at least half!)
