This weekend was full of adventure…

Saturday.
The same guys that took me shrimping last week invited me to experience “the country.” On the way out, I picked up a new article of clothing. At a mere $4.99, how could I resist?

I saw a barn.

Corn fields.

Ponds.

Moss. Trees. Moss.

A fancy kind of koozie.

I roasted oysters.

Went fishing.

Got my bait caught in a tree.

And shot a gun in a dress and heels. Normal.

Sunday.
I went to the beach. Just because it was pretty out.
Did a cartwheel.

Wrote my name in the sand. And dotted my i, of course.

 Checked out a horseshoe crab.

 Blinged out a jelly fish.

But did not touch it.
I heart my life.

    may not have been your first time shooting – mine? my friend was standing behind me, with his arms around me, placing the gun where I should be holding it. when he let go, it slipped down off my shoulder to like, my bicep… the kick… oh CRIMENY SAKES the kick ! my arm was black & blue and SO HURTY …

    Looks like an adventurous weekend! I’ve never shot a gun, but it’s on my bucket list (as long as killing something is NOT involved). And how cool that you saw a jellyfish and crab in the sand. You’ve inspired me to get out of the city and enjoy nature more often. :-)
